After learning that this wasn`t a direct Tweeter Center issue, I emailed the address in the ad, saying:

"Hello! I`m writing in response to your ad on Craig`s List -- boston.craigslist.org/gbs/evg/354212416.html -- with an inquiry:

"I`m sure you`re familiar with the title VII regulations against sex discrimination in hiring, and I`m curious to know if you have any comments about how your job listing is violating that and associated laws?

"Looking forward to your response!"

And receive this response from Dawn Perry (promo_mania@yahoo.com):

"when you are a lic. modeling agency you can hire people from Mars if the client so desires, maam"

Well. I guess that makes it all okay.

I just spoke with Bruce Montgomery, general manager of the Tweeter Center, who was confused to read this ad and unhappy to have it associated with them. "We`ve done some stupid things," he said, "But I sure hope this isn`t one of them."

He promised to look into it, and I told him if I discover anything else, I`ll get back to him on it, too.

This is what I heard back from Tweeter

"This is an ad for a sponsor doing an event onsite, not directly related with the Tweeter Center."

Will send another e-mail saying it is being done under their name and see what happens next
