Takemefishing seems like a lovely group but their National Geographic ad about boys, dads, grandpas and fishing leaves half the world out!
The Issue:
In the May 2007 National Geographic ad on page 11 there is a smiling face of a little boy under text saying:
Take me fishing because you`re the coolest grandpa ever.
Take me fishing so you can tell me stories about my dad.
Take me fishing and show me how to drive the boat.
Take me fishing so I`ll always remember you.
Really nice sentiment but lots of girls would love to go fishing with their grandpa (and their grandma) and hear stories about their mom as well as about their dad.
Takemefishing wants grandpas to take grandsons fishing and tell them stories the dad. Guess real women don`t fish
